United Trinity Parish – LeRoy and Humeston, Iowa

Please stop by the church office and say hello to Pastor, Donna Murphy-Ceradsky. (think Sir-rad-ski 😊). Pastor Donna came to us from Pleasantville, Iowa. Her husband, Garland, is employed in Corydon, Iowa. Since coming to Humeston, their daughters, Madison and Jamison, have graduated from Culver-Stocton College in Canton, Missouri. They visit Humeston as often as their busy schedules allow.

Pastor Donna and Garland are both natives of Missouri. Pastor Donna grew up on a farm graduating from high school in Princeton, Missouri. From serving churches in Oklahoma, Illinois, Missouri and Iowa, she has come full circle to her roots. Pastor Donna began serving the parish as a 1 year, 3⁄4 time (30 hrs. per week) Transitional Pastor.

With this type of calling the parties enter into a short-term contract. At the end of that term, the contract is reviewed by the Parish Council and the Pastor. After the review, if all parties are in agreement, the transitional pastor becomes the settled pastor. This arrangement proved successful. Pastor Donna is now here as our settled pastor.

The family lives in the parsonage across from the park in Humeston. Please be sure to introduce yourself and get acquainted.
